1.   the feeling one has on realizing that every other individual one sees has a life as full and real as one’s own, in which they are the central character and others, including oneself, have secondary or insignificant roles:
   
   This definition intrigued Abbi because it was something that from a young age she felt she was able to do. It inspired her to create a set of cards called Sonder Empowerment Cards, that each day would be drawn from and prompt the reader to think deeply about varying topics regarding themselves, others, or the world around them.
